Latest rumours indicated that Huawei may be working on Windows-based devices. According to a Chinese website, Huawei has a team of more than 70 people who are currently working on Windows Phone devices.
Reportedly, the upcoming smartphones will run Windows Phone 8 Apollo, and they could be released in late 2012. One of those Huawei WP devices could cost around $300.
In addition to Apollo handsets, it’s said that Huawei is also working on a Windows 8 tablet with LTE connectivity. Unfortunately, Huawei has yet to release any official details.
Huawei shipped 55 million phones during last year, 20 million of which were smartphones.
