Ingens Sdn Bhd, an ICT distributor in Malaysia, has been appointed as the sole distributor for Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (P1) to supply P1 4G WiMAX modems to 858 P1 authorised resellers throughout Malaysia. The Distribution and Logistic Services agreement was signed by Ingens Executive Director Low Gah Luen and P1 Chief Executive Officer Michael Lai.
Riding on this synergistic collaboration, Ingens aims to enhance the service delivery to all P1 authorised resellers by providing them a faster logistic services in both Peninsula and East Malaysia. In addition to the above, Ingens will add more value by enabling resellers to enjoy a wider range of 4G modem selections in meeting different consumer needs. Prior to this agreement, P1 undertook the distribution of its 4G modems internally.
Ingens said that it currently more than 700 dealers nationwide and is targeting to achieve RM 125 million in total revenue with a range of 6.5-7.5% profit margin for the first three quarters of FY 2012-2013. Current Ingens customers include Acer, Toshiba, Samsung, MSI, ZTE and BenQ, amongst others.
