RTM TV & Radio channels now available via RTM Mobile

Radio Television Malaysia is now offering their TV & radio channels on mobile devices. The free service, called RTM Mobile was officiated today by Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.

RTM Mobile works on a number of mobile devices such as BlackBerry, Android, iPhone, Windows Mobile & Symbian OS or device that supports Adobe Flash Player/HTML 5. It will offer 4 TV channels( TV1, TV2, Muzik Aktif..etc) and 9 radio channels including Klasik National FM, TraxxFM, Ai FM, MuzikFM, KLFM and more.

According to RTM Mobile, the TV channels requires at least 200Kbps to work while the Radio channels requires a bandwidth of 96Kbps.Telekom Malaysia and Jaring are technology partners.
