Celcom, DiGi & Maxis to offer Samsung Galaxy SIII in Malaysia

As reported before on MalaysianWireless about 2 weeks ago, mobile operators such as Celcom, DiGi and Maxis are set to offer the Samsung Galaxy SIII starting 31st May 2012.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is priced at RM2199 in Malaysia. It is powered by a powerful Quad-core 1.4Ghz processor(Exynos 4 Quad), 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage space, 4.8 inches HD Super AMOLED display, 8MP camera that takes full HD video and supports HSDPA up to 21Mbps. The device runs the latest Android 4.0 mobile operating system.

Celcom-Samsung Galaxy SIII from RM1398

Celcom Axiata will be offering the Samsung Galaxy SIII from RM1398 with a 18-months contract and subscription to Celcom Exec 250.

The launch event is set on 31 May 2012 at South Court, Mid Valley Megamall at 10.00am. The launch will also concurrently take place in Shopping Complex at Sutera Mall, Johor Bharu and Aeon Station 18, Ipoh, Perak.

As part of the launch promo, Celcom said that those who dress in Blue at the launch event may be able to own Samsung Galaxy S III at RM888.

DiGi- Samsung Galaxy S III from RM999

DiGi is offering the Samsung Galaxy SIII from as low low as RM999, however don’t expect a proper mobile service from DiGi considering what customers are already complaining. At RM999, customers will be tied to a 24-months contract and pay at least a minimum RM88 a month. More details here.

Maxis- Samsung Galaxy S III

Maxis has yet to reveal their mobile offerings for the Samsung Galaxy S III. More details will be updated here once the information is public.
