Samsung Galaxy SIII received over 9 million pre-orders from over 100 carriers

Latest report on the Samsung Galaxy SIII claims that Samsung has so far received over 9 million pre-orders from 100 carriers for its third-generation Android Galaxy S smartphone.

Citing un-named Samsung official, the Korea Economic Daily reported that the company’s smartphone factory in South Korea was running at its full capacity of 5 million units per month.

The Samsung Galaxy S3, the company’s flagship Android smartphone was unveiled early this month and scheduled to go on sale in Germany on May 29.

MalaysianWireless recently reported that the Galaxy S III will be available in Malaysia via Maxis, Celcom and DiGi at the retail price of RM2199.

Samsung declined to comment.
