Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) recently took home the Fixed Broadband Service Provider of the Year award at the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards in Singapore.
This award at the regional front complements the six (6) Broadband Service Provider of the Year awards which the ISP clinched at previous editions of the Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards, including the most recent one this year. In total, TM took home four (4) awards at the Malaysia chapter, including the Service Provider of the Year at the annual awards ceremony held in April. (Awards won by TM at 2012 Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards – Broadband Service Provider of the Year, Data Communications Service Provider of the Year, Managed Service Provider of the Year and Service Provider of the Year).
Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, Group Chief Executive Officer, TM in his acceptance speech, said, “We are indeed very honoured and proud to receive this award, our first since the 2008 demerger from Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific. The Frost & Sullivan Awards were presented to companies that demonstrate best practices in their industry, commending the diligence, commitment, and innovative business strategies required to advance in the global marketplace.
