Apple’s upcoming iPhone is expected to be the next big release for the company this year. There has been so many unconfirmed reports on iPhone 5 and Apple remains secret and keeping things confidential as usual.
Apple’s next-generation iPhone is expected to feature a bigger 4-inch screen, support for LTE(not expected in Malaysia), a quad-core processor with A6 chip and 1GB of RAM.
We’ve already heard that the iPhone is in production. Our source pointed out that the new iPhone 5 is likely to support Near Field Communication(NFC) and use the new Nano-SIM which is 40% smaller than the current micro-sim. It will make Apple the first major manufacturer to use the Nano-sim card.
MalaysianWireless has been told that the iPhone 5 will be available in Malaysia this year, expected sometime October-November. As usual, Maxis, Celcom & DiGi are expected to offer the upcoming iPhone.
Apple said it sold 26 million iPhones in the latest financial quarterly report, down from 35.1 million in the previous quarter. Since introduced in 2007, Apple has sold more than 120 million units worldwide.
