Maxis offers Free iPhone 3GS with contract [Update 1]

Maxis today started offering the iPhone 3GS for free, with 2 years contract.

Customers who opt for the Value Plus Internet 50 plan or the Internet Value Plan 50 will be able to take home the iPhone 3GS for free when they sign up for a 2 year contract and pay RM750 upfront.

For customers who opt for a 12-months contract, the iPhone 3GS cost RM295 with an upfront payment of RM500 for the Value Plus Internet 50 plan or the Internet Value Plan 50.

The offer is also extended to Value Plus Internet Supplementary 30. Customers can purchase the iPhone 3GS for RM115 with a 24-months contract and upfront payment of RM750.

[Update 1]- A number of MalaysianWireless readers complained that they could not get the iPhone 3GS at any Maxis Center due to out of stock. We provided the feedback to Maxis and they have since removed the promotion from their website and Maxis Centers.
