Key services under Salam Ikhlas 2012 include free imsak and ‘buka puasa’ times, where customers are provided with free alerts yearly allowing them to stay informed of the exact times during the holy month of Ramadan. Another key service is mZakat, a channel for Maxis customers in Selangor, Sabah, Kedah, Perlis, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan and Melaka, who can fulfill their religious obligation during the month of Ramadan by contributing their zakat payment via SMS.

We have now expanded our range of offerings which our customers can access conveniently at their fingertips, either at home, work or on the go. Apart from free Imsak and Buka Puasa times alerts and mZakat, we are also offering Ramadan Videos, Takaful protection, relevant mobile content through Tazkirah Portal and much more,” added Shanti.

Meanwhile, Android and Blackberry users can sign up for a free Loker personal cloud account with 5GB of storage space to save and back up all their videos and pictures.
