Hotlink Broadband pack with download speeds up to 42Mbps

Maxis now offers the Hotlink Broadband pack with download speeds up to 42Mbps.

The Hotlink Broadband prepaid service is available via the 2 options below:

  • Hotlink Broadband Simpack at RM5- comes with Hotlink Broadband Simcard and Free 50MB data pass.
  • Hotlink Broadband Starter Kit at RM88- comes with Hotlink Broadband simcard, Free 50MB data pass and Hotlink Broadband USB Modem with speeds up to 7.5Mbps

Customers who wish the purchase the 42Mbps USB modem may do so at the Maxis Center. The Hotlink Broadband HSPA Modem USB drive with 42Mbps is available separately at RM280 per unit.

Hotlink Broadband users can top via the standard prepaid reload and manage their account via the Hotlink Broadband portal. Via this portal which is accessible only to Hotlink Broadband customers, users can:

  • Check Account Credit Balance
  • Check Account Credit Expiry
  • Check Broadband Quota Balance
  • Purchase Broadband Passes
  • Check Broadband Pass Expiry


Effective from 8 August 2012, current Maxis prepaid broadband portal will be migrated to Hotlink Broadband Portal. Hence all existing Maxis prepaid broadband customers will be able to enjoy speed up to 42Mbps instead of 7.2Mbps when they subscribe the new data pass via the Hotlink Broadband portal.
