Commenting on the partnership, CEO of U Mobile, Jaffa Sany Ariffin said, “This collaboration is in line with our company’s three-pronged strategy, which is to establish a quality, robust network infrastructure, strengthen the brand through innovative product offerings and, widen our distribution network.”

“This tie-up helps us deliver the third priority in meeting customers’ needs for greater accessibility and convenience to our products and services. We are indeed honoured to be partnering GCH Retail as it has some of the largest and most popular retail outlets in Malaysia. Many of our customers frequent these stores, so it makes sense that they can top-up and buy our prepaid SIM packs where they shop,” he said.

GCH Retail is one of the leading and multi-award winning retails outlets in Malaysia known for its competitive product pricing, vast variety of offerings, comfortable and complete shopping environments. Some of its most notable accolades are Best of the Best in Asia Pacific Retailers Award from 2007 to 2012, Malaysian Most Valuable Brands in 2009 and 2010 and Putra Brand Awards in 2011 and 2012.

Via the partnership, U Mobile now has a total distribution channels of more than 22,000 outlets nationwide.
