TIME dotCom Berhad (TIME) has named Rossana Rashidi as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Rossana will assist Chief Executive Officer, Afzal Abdul Rahim, to manage TIME’s enlarged group, across its domestic fixed line telecommunications, data centres and regional wholesale bandwidth businesses.
Rossana(picture) spent almost a decade at Maxis Berhad where she played in key role in the growth of the business in a financial and commercial capacity as its CFO.
“Rossana has a wealth of experience and knowledge that will prove invaluable to TIME’s plans to consolidate its position at home while becoming a major Internet and bandwidth provider in Asia-Pacific. Additionally, Rossana will focus on building operational best practices and drive our execution initiatives as she runs our business on a day to day basis” said Afzal Abdul Rahim, Chief Executive Officer of TIME dotCom Berhad.
“Rossana will be a steady and wise hand in navigating our ship in these regional waters.”
Prior to her role as the Chief Financial Officer of Maxis Berhad, she spent 14 years in the financial services sector, starting with Citibank NA, before moving on to become RHB Bank Berhad’s Head of Enterprise Banking. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance in 1987 from Canberra College of Advanced Education (now known as University of Canberra), Australia.
