BlackBerry Music Mania Concert and Carnival is set to take place on 31 December 2012 at Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam. The event is presented by Tempus Communications, an agency specializes in event management and public relations.
The concert line-up includes the ever-popular band from Indonesia, Sheila On 7, Hujan and Bunkface, Kartel, Joe Flizzow, Altimet, SonaOne and Ila Damiaa.
Completing the exciting line-up of acts are Oh! Chentaku, Kyoto Protocol, Sofazr, Meet Uncle Hussain, 6ixth Sense, GoGerila! and Amir Jahari – all in one concert to celebrate the New Year.
The BlackBerry Music Mania will also feature a carnival running concurrently with the concert at the outdoor area of Stadium Malawati.
Besides a wide array of F&B options and bazaar vendors, visitors will also be treated to high flying BMX stunt performances and graffiti demonstrations by the award-winning WAKAKA Crew. The diverse street crew will also be running a Breakdance and BMX / flatland trick-cycling competition and performances.
While the entry to the carnival is free of charge, the concert will require a ticket which cannot be bought. Generally, there are two ways to win a pair to ticket:
- A pair of concert tickets will be given out(while stock last) with every purchase of a BlackBerry Curve 9220 or BlackBerry Curve 9320 smartphone from 1 December to 25 December 2012. Tickets can be redeemed at any AirAsia RedTix outlets.
- Win a pair of ticket from the BlackBerry Music Mania website and its Facebook page. The tickets will also be given out by some radio stations and Facebook page of the participating artist, among others.
