Samsung Galaxy S III gets Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update

More than 30 million Samsung Galaxy S III out there will be receiving the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. The new update is being rolling out in phases(via Samsung Kies and Over-the-Air) and the first county to get the firmware is Poland.

The update brings new features to the Galaxy S III, some which were introduced in Galaxy Note II.

According to SamMobile, Samsung has given the Galaxy S III top priority in Software Updates, that’s why Samsung keeps on updating this device to the latest versions of Android.

Only recently, a couple weeks ago, Samsung Galaxy S III users in Malaysia received the upgrade to the new Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) over the air on their smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a price tag of RM1999 in Malaysia.
