Asus Taichi price in Malaysia at RM3999

Asus Malaysia has announced the availability of the Taichi in Malaysia. The Asus Taichi will have a price tag of RM3999 and goes on sale in Malaysia starting next week.

The Taichi offers a combined features of a multi-touch tablet and ultrabook. It is powered by an Intel Core quad-core processor and two back-to-back Full HD screens, weighting about 1.25kg.

Specifications of the Asus TAICHI 21 below:

  • 3rd Generation Intel Core i5-3317U processor
  • Tablet: 11.6” Full HD (1920 x 1080) with 250 nits backlight support (10 fingers Touch)
  • Notebook: 11.6” Full HD (1920 x 1080) with 280 nits backlight support
  • Windows 8
  • Integrated HD Graphics 4000
  • 4GB DDR3 RAM, 256GB SATA III SSD
  • Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 (10x faster than USB 2.0)

At the launch event, Asus also revealed the 7″ MeMO Pad Android tablet retailing at RM499 and the VivoTab Smart tablet(Windows 8) with a 10.1-inch HD display. The Asus VivoTab Smart Wi-Fi (ME400C) model will retail for RM1799 while the Asus VivoTab Smart Wi-Fi + LTE (ME400CL) has a price tag of RM2099.

All devices will only be available next week at authorized Asus resellers.
