TaxiMonger, a mobile app for booking taxis in Klang Valley(Malaysia) has recently made available its service on iPhone and other iOS 6 devices. TaxiMonger first launched its mobile app for Android in May last year.
Features of TaxiMonger for iPhone below:
- Opt between executive or budget taxis.
- Book taxis for immediate or future journeys.
- View and check status of in-waiting and confirmed bookings.
- Instant and native push notifications sent to users when a taxi driver accepts a taxi booking order.
- QR code for taxi driver to scan to determine correct taxi has arrived.
The service allows the public to call/book for a taxi without the need of calling those traditional call centers. The company currently has about 1,000 taxis/cab in their network.
TaxiMonger was voted as the “Top 10 Best Apps in Asia” at the Open Web Asia 2012 Conference recently.
