The Musicube Mini app is the latest offering from The Cube – Celcom’s own branded multimedia channel that fulfils consumers’ needs to access content on any device while on the move, at home, at work or at play.

The app gives subscribers access to a huge library of songs across all genres including international English hits as well as Malay, Mandarin, Tamil, Hindi, Indonesian and K-pop favourites. Subscribers can personalise their own playlists which are stored on the customers’ cloud account, making it possible for them to enjoy their favourite tunes anytime and anywhere on supported devices.

Subscribers can listen to their songs on up to five devices including smartphones, tablets and PCs with no extra data or hidden charges if they are on Celcom’s network. Best of all, users can still enjoy their favourite tunes even without a data connection as the songs are stored within the Musicube Mini app itself. The Musicube Mini app also provides the capability to share or Tweet subscribers’ favourite songs via their social media networks.

In conjunction with the launch, Celcom will give subscribers a chance to catch international rock stars Bon Jovi live in concert. Musicube Mini app subscribers who sign up from now until 15 June 2013 automatically stand a chance to win tickets and flights to one of Bon Jovi’s three concerts in Berne, London, or Milan this June. Subscribers will enjoy an added option of enjoying Bon Jovi’s single Because We Can as a Call Me Tone free for a month.

The Musicube Mini app is compatible with mobile phones and tablets running Android, Apple and BlackBerry operating systems.

Commenting on the launch of the Musicube Mini app, En. Afizulazha Abdullah, Chief Digital Services Officer of Celcom Axiata Berhad, said, “Musicube differs from other online music subscriptions by offering money-can’t-buy experiences including concert tickets and artiste-signed merchandise giveaways and opportunities to meet and greet international and local artistes through Celcom and Xpax’s support of the local and international music scenes. We hope to be able to announce more freebies and promotions in the near future,”.
