Telekom Malaysia Berhad(TM) has announced that its IPTV service, HyppTV, will be made available nationwide to Streamyx 4Mbps and 8Mbps customers as well as multiple devices including PC, Android & iOS(iPhone/iPad) starting 1st August 2013.

HyppTV Everywhere is offered as an add-on service for its current UniFi and Streamyx (4Mbps and 8Mbps) customers to view HyppTV content via multiple devices. To enjoy HyppTV on their multiple screens, new and existing HyppTV customers need to pay an additional RM5 per month for two (2) devices or RM10 per month for five (5) devices.
As an introductory promotion, all UniFi and Streamyx customers get to enjoy the HyppTV Everywhere service for two (2) devices for free from 1 August until 30 September 2013.
For existing and new Streamyx 8Mbps customers, HyppTV will be offered as part of its triple-play services of Voice, Internet and IPTV packaged at RM160 a month with 17 free channels and option to subscribe to HyppTV’s Platinum Pack. For existing and new Streamyx 4Mbps customers who are currently being offered with a two-play services package of Internet and Voice, HyppTV(set top box) is offered as an add-on service for RM30 a month that includes 17 free channels, with an option to subscribe to HyppTV Pack.
To download HyppTV Everywhere application, customers can go to Google Play Store or Apple Store and search for “HyppTV Everywhere”.
TM claims that HyppTV is Malaysia’s fastest growing IPTV service offering its customers 109 channels with 27 channels in High Definition (HD) – comprising 25 free-to-air channels including 8 radio channels, 48 premium channels, 16 Video-On-Demand (VOD) genres and 20 interactive channels.
