Sony Xperia Z Ultra LTE price at RM2199 in Malaysia

Sony Mobile Communications will soon be offering the LTE variant of the Xperia Z Ultra in Malaysia starting October 17. The Sony Xperia Z Ultra LTE will be available in a choice of black, white and purple colour finishes and is price at RM2199 in Malaysia.


The 3G version of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra was first announced back in August in Malaysia. The Sony Xperia Z Ultra 3G is currently priced at RM2299, however Sony Mobile said that it will revise the price since the LTE version will cost cheaper. Unfortunately, no further details was given at the time of writing.

  • 8 megapixel camera with “Exmor RS for mobile” sensor and HDR for videos and photos
  • Comes in a choice of black or white colour finishes
  • 179.4 x 92.2 x 6.5 mm, 212 grams
  • Battery STAMINA Mode for outstanding battery life(3000 mAh)

From October to December, consumers who purchase the Xperia Z Ultra LTE version will be able to enjoy three months of free music streaming powered by Akazoo, a social media music app which comes preloaded in the device. Users will have unlimited social music listening with access to a huge catalogue of tracks during the promotional period.

In addition, Xperia Z Ultra LTE users will be able to download up to six movies for free through Movies Privilege, available through the Xperia Privilege app that is also preloaded in the device.
