- As part of this reorganisation, DiGi will now have an enhanced focus on driving its sales, distribution and channel management functions under a new division. Loh Keh Jiat, currently Head of Channels & Regions, will lead this new division. As Chief Sales Officer, Loh will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of distribution and channel strategies for consumer and business customer segments. These divisions will be supported by the Corporate Affairs, Finance, and Human Resources teams. DiGi will announce a new Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO) who will join the company on 1 January 2014, in due course. The Finance and Human Resources divisions will continue to be led by current Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Karl Erik Broten and Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) Haroon Bhatti, respectively.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Henrik Clausen says, “Over the past two years DiGi has executed sharply on our company-wide business transformation programme, with significant improvements in our network and IT assets, our go-to-market ecosystem, and in the way we build a people-focused and performance-driven culture. Simultaneously, we have continued to register steady and consistent revenue and market share growth, and have built a solid track record of bringing new and innovative voice and internet services to the 10.8 million customers we serve today.
“We believe that these changes will enhance our ability to serve current and future customers in a more integrated and cohesive way. Albern, Christian and Loh bring with them a deep sense of DiGi’s heritage and history, solid industry knowledge and market expertise, and a strong track record of leadership and performance. Combined with strength of the rest of the senior management team, and an experienced and capable extended management team, we believe we have the right set up to drive the next phase of DiGi’s growth,” Clausen added.
