Alcatel OneTouch today announced the opening of its first Alcatel OneTouch concept store in Malaysia. The concept store, which is located on the ground floor of Low Yat Plaza, Bukit Bintang marks another milestone for the Alcatel OneTouch brand since its return to Malaysia in early 2013.
“We are proud to finally have our very own concept store in Malaysia. With the highly competitive smartphone market, it is imperative that the Alcatel OneTouch brand has more visibility with a dedicated store to help raise awareness. We are confident that the new store’s success will help us further strengthen our brand as we continue to provide the industry with new products”, said KL Kong, Country Manager of TCT Mobile Malaysia.
The Alcatel OneTouch concept store will provide a richer, more interactive user experience for customers in a comfortable and well-equipped setting. It will be the first to offer a dedicated Alcatel OneTouch environment for consumers in Malaysia.
The store will also showcase all current phone models that have recently been introduced to the local market as well as highlight upcoming phone models. By end of 2014, the company aim to achieve a total of 6 Concept Stores and appoint 20 Authorized Service Centers nationwide.
“Alcatel OneTouch is going through an amazing transformation with positive earnings, market share growth and continued development in the depth and range of its global smart device portfolio and we are assured this will lead us to a prosperous future,” Kong concluded.
Alcatel OneTouch’s products are currently sold in 150 countries. In quarter three of 2013, TCL Communication’s sales ranked sixth highest globally.
