Lenovo has the launched VIBE X2 android smartphone in Malaysia, its latest VIBE line of premium smartphones.
Priced at RM1199 in Malaysia, the Lenovo VIBE X2 is the world’s first “layered” smartphone (3 layer of colours), which represents a “giant quantum leap in terms of smartphone aesthetics”, Lenovo said.

Lenovo is the first global handset manufacturer to ship a smartphone with the latest MediaTek MT6595 True Octa-core processor with 4G LTE. Based on a Heterogeneous Multi-Processing platform in big.LITTLE configuration, MediaTek applied its CorePilot technology to the VIBE X2 to unlock the full power of all eight cores.
Consumers could also add a fourth layer to the VIBE X2, thanks to the VIBE Xtension click on cases. Lenovo is introducing two VIBE Xtensions, VIBE X2 Battery and VIBE X2 Speaker.
The VIBE X2 Battery will extend the VIBE X2’s battery life by up to 75 percent. There is also an auxiliary micro-USB port that simultaneously charges the case and device. The Lenovo VIBE X2 Battery is price at RM139.
Price at RM299, VIBE X2 Speaker is the first click-on speaker in the market with JBL tuned hi-fi sound. Other features include a convenient hands-free stand, wireless Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in battery for 5 hours of uninterrupted audio playback.
The Lenovo VIBE X2 is now available in Malaysia.
