Celcom Axiata launched two new postpaid plans called Celcom First Basic and Celcom First Elite, a first of its kind personalised Internet and call plan with exclusivity and VIP treatment.
The new postpaid plans comes with a new feature called OPTIMISER that automatically provides additional free monthly Internet or voice airtime by recognising customers’ monthly usage behaviour.
Celcom First Basic postpaid plan cost RM85 a month. It comes with 2GB of mobile Internet data, 2GB of Celcom WiFi, 100 minutes of voice call to all networks and 100 SMS to all networks. With OPTIMISER, customers who use up the free voice & SMS during the current billing cycle will get an additional 150 minutes and 150 SMS (total 250 minutes talk time, 250 SMS ). However if customers use up the mobile Internet allocation 1st (during the current billing cycle), they will get an additional 2GB mobile Internet plus 2GB of Celcom WiFi.
Only one OPTIMISER (data or voice) can be used in a current billing cycle and the process is automatic. It will reset in the next billing cycle.
Standard chargers for Celcom First Basic are: 15sen(min/SMS/MMS) and 50sen/20MB.
Customers on the First Basic plan will have the privileged of becoming a member of Club Celcom First and get to enjoy exclusive membership rewards. Celcom said that existing customers will have the option of upgrading to First Basic soon.
Celcom First Elite postpaid plan gives customers the best of everything that Celcom has to offer, the Telco said. At RM235 a month, Celcom First Elite comes with 200 minutes of voice call to all networks, 200 SMS to all networks, 3GB of mobile Internet and 3GB of Celcom WiFi. With OPTIMISER, customers who use up the free voice & SMS during the current billing cycle will get an additional 300 minutes and 300 SMS (total 500 minutes talk time, 500 SMS ). However if customers use up the mobile Internet allocation 1st (during the current billing cycle), they will get an additional 2GB mobile Internet plus 2GB of Celcom WiFi. Celcom First Elite also comes with a free Second SIM with a fixed amount of 200 minutes talk time, 200 SMS and 3GB Internet.
Standard chargers for Celcom First Elite are: 10sen(min/SMS/MMS) and 50sen/20MB.
Celcom First Elite privileges and exclusivity:
- Preferred Number- Select from a list of exclusive numbers for your principal number and Second SIM to get numbers that are specially yours.
- Personalised Customer Service- Your own lane and Personal Service Consultant at Blue Cube and Celcom centres and a dedicated customer service number at 1881.
- Reserved Parking- A reserved parking space just for you at selected Blue Cube and Celcom Centres
- Priority Access- Be the first to reserve and own the latest devices once they launch.
- The Lounge- A premium area to indulge in light refreshments as you receive personalised services. (Currently at KLIA2, level 2M)
Celcom also launched two new add-on plans for Celcom First.

- 1GB- RM15
- 5GB- RM50
Max Up All (comes with calls, SMS and Internet at RM50):
- 250 minutes of voice
- 250 SMS
- 1GB mobile Internet

The Celcom First 1+5 supplementary plan has been refreshed as well. Available with the newly launched Celcom First plans, First 1+5 cost RM30/month, comes with 50 minutes of voice, 50 SMS, 500MB of mobile Internet and 500 MB of Celcom WiFi. Customers can enjoy free calls up to 2,000 minutes, 2,000 SMS/MMS between the Celcom First 1+5 supplementary line and the principle line. Standard chargers for Celcom First 1+5 are: 15sen(min/SMS/MMS) and 50sen/20MB.
