The Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is now available from U Mobile.
On Tuesday, U Mobile unveiled its iPhone 6 plans with installment from as low as RM98 with U MicroCredit, the first ever device financing programme offered by Telco. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were made available yesterday at U Mobile stores nationwide.
On March 19, crowds of people were seen queuing at Berjaya Times Square from as early as 9am to purchase the iPhone from U Mobile. For Jo Liew, all the effort in waking up early and beating the morning traffic was worth it when he held the golden iPhone 6 Plus 64 GB he had longed for, along with U Mobile i60 Prepaid iPlan.
“I finally got it!” said Liew while clutching his new iPhone 6 Plus, beaming and trying to contain his excitement. “I have always wanted to get the iPhone 6 when it was launched in Malaysia, and after reading online that U Mobile is offering the iPhone 6 for prepaid users, I felt compelled to come over today to get one for myself,” Liew added. He was the first in line to purchase the iPhone 6 with U Mobile.
Consumers can opt to pair up their iPhone 6 with any of the iPlans – i40, i60, i90 and i130, which are applicable to both prepaid and postpaid segments. Postpaid iPlan subscribers can also enjoy the voice and data sharing feature, where they can share their data and voice allocations with multiple devices using multiple SIMs.
Beginning from 19 March, customers who sign up before 30 June 2015 with i60 and i90 plans will enjoy unlimited Internet until 31 July 2015 while customers who sign up for i130 are entitled for the promotion until 30 September 2015. With no limit on speed, data quota and additional charges, U Mobile customers can stay connected and access their favourite content all they want. Upon expiry of the unlimited Internet promotion, iPlan customers will still enjoy non-stop Internet experience on U Mobile’s high speed 3G and 4G LTE connectivity, with the fair usage policy applied.
Malaysians can head to ground floor concourse, Berjaya Times Square from 19 to 22 March 2015 to find out more about U Mobile’s iPhone 6 offerings, where they will also be able to walk home with lucky draw prizes and special merchandise by U Mobile.
