Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd made a statement today saying that its “affordable” RM25 (Broadband 25) monthly basic broadband plan (postpaid) with 1GB data cap is aligned to the vision of the Communications and Multimedia (MCMC) Minister Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek.
The Telco said that its basic broadband plan is already available for both prepaid and postpaid customers at RM25 for a monthly data cap of 1GB. Existing Digi postpaid customers can subscribe to a 1GB basic broadband plan at a special rate of RM20.
“Our aspiration of delivering Internet For All is rooted on the principle of affordable access for broadband and mobile internet services.” said Digi’s Chief Marketing Officer Christian Thrane. “DiGi’s basic broadband plan today gives customers access to quality internet service for less than RM1 a day.
“Our ambition to bring the power of the internet to more Malaysians is aligned to the vision of the Communications and Multimedia Minister Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek. Easy access will encourage adoption and usage of the internet, and we are committed to accelerate the process by continuing to bring the best value offerings to customers on Malaysia’s fastest growing network,” added Thrane.
Other postpaid broadband plans from Digi include Broadband 45 (RM45, 2GB), Broadband 65 (RM65, 4GB+4GB), Broadband 85 (RM85, 5GB+16GB) and Broadband 105 (RM105, 7GB+18GB).
