Lenovo unveiled the A7000 in Malaysia, the world’s first smartphone with Dolby Atmos audio technology. The Lenovo A7000 will carry a retail price tag of RM699 in Malaysia.
The new smartphone from Lenovo features a 5.5-in HD display with ultra-wide viewing angles and moving audio technology from Dolby. In addition, it runs Android 5.0 on a MediaTek True8Core processor with 4G LTE.
There’s even has a dual SIM card slot for assigning two telephone numbers or a separate data plan, along with dual cameras.

Previously pioneered and perfected in cinemas, Lenovo said the Dolby Atmos technology has generated tremendous excitement in home theatres. Users will immediately hear the Dolby Atmos difference using headphones: sounds of people, places, things, and music become more vivid and move from all directions, including overhead, with astonishing clarity, richness and depth. Voices and noises have a broader range from highs to lows, with the greatest subtlety. The technology also makes playback volume more consistent across all types of content.
In conjunction with the unveiling of the A7000, Lenovo Malaysia will be partnering with Lazada Malaysia to launch and exclusively retail the Lenovo A7000 Smartphone as part of a regional initiative. This is the first time Lenovo is doing a concurrent launch across six ASEAN countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Pre-registration is available now and starting from 20th May 2015, the Lenovo A7000 will be available on the Lazada Malaysia at an exclusive price of RM625.
Lenovo A7000 comes in two colours: Onyx Black or Pearl White.
