In conjunction with the Merdeka celebration (Malaysia National Day), Lazada, foodpanda, ZALORA, UBER and HappyFresh revealed the first ever joint online sale of its kind in Malaysia called Unity Sale, that will run from 26th August – 1st September, 2015.
It will feature a host offering including more than 20,000 online deals and up to 94% in product discounts across individual products and services being offered by the five participating brands.
Below are some of deal that will be offered starting tomorrow, for one week.
- Lazada Malaysia: deals up to 94% discount on products and special promotions for purchases made using the Lazada mobile app
- Uber: RM58 for one ride
- FoodPanda: Free delivery with promo code
- Zalora Malaysia: Daily surprise deals with free shipping, up to 94% discounts
- HappyFresh: RM50 off for 1st time customers and 1 month free delivery. Existing customers get 10% off for their orders

In terms of improving customer experience, FoodPanda told MalaysianWireless that it will be reducing its current coverage area to improve delivery time. Lazada said that it has a new warehourse in East Malaysia and will be renting a bigger one in West Malaysia (>200,000 sq ft) at the end of this year so that customers gets to enjoy faster delivery.
