iflix, an Internet TV service provider, has partnered with Digi Telecommunication Sdn Bhd to provide direct iflix subscription for Digi customers.
Digi customers can now charge their iflix subscriptions (RM10/month for monthly subscriptions or RM8/month for annual subscriptions) to their postpaid or prepaid Digi accounts thanks to the integrated mobile carrier billing.
As part of the partnership, Digi customers will also receive free 60-day access to iflix which they can stream on Digi’s high-speed 4G LTE and 3G network (active data plan required). Furthermore, after the 60-day complimentary access, customers who subscribe to an iflix monthly subscription plan will be entitled to an extra 1GB internet data quota to stream iflix on Digi’s network at no extra charge.
iflix subscriptions will entitle users to:
- Unlimited access to iflix’s vast library of over 10,000 hours of top quality Western, Asian and Local content;
- Access to iflix on up to 5 devices of their choice, whether smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop, connected TV
- Share an iflix subscription and simultaneously watch different content on two different devices at the same time for each subscription;
- Subscriptions come with no strings attached, no hidden catches and no contracts.
Having recently announced partnerships with top studios and distributors including Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros, MGM, Fox Studios, BBC, STARZ, and Primeworks, iflix offers subscribers tens of thousands of hours of popular Hollywood, international, Asian language, and local content with new titles being added daily.
It also offers streaming of the latest seasons of smash hit television shows Black Sails, Scorpion, 2 Broke Girls, Continuum, Criminal Minds, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Scandal, Once Upon a Time and Revenge, available on demand.
Less than two months since launching in Malaysia and the Philippines, iflix said that it has activated over 100,000 subscribers streaming over 30 million minutes of content.
