Digi Telecommunications has officially announced its MyDigi app that allows prepaid and postpaid customers to better control their Digi accounts. The app, now available in full version (Beta since 2012), offers a 24/7, quick and easy way to access and manage account settings.
Among the key features of the MyDigi app include checking real-time usage and bill statements, linking multiple accounts to give a better overview on usage, monitor billed amount and pay via the app, as well as the option of buying internet top-up and other add-ons via customers’ smartphones.
Key features of the MyDigi app according to the Telco:
- See your remaining balance, including how much data you have left at a glance.
- Stay on top of your billed amounts and pay them with a single tap.
- Buy Internet reloads and other add-ons so you can save even more.
- Switch between, and manage all of your accounts that you have with us.
“Through our conversations with customers, we know that they want more interactivity and control over the Digi services they subscribe to. This, coupled with the fact that more customers are choosing to use smartphones, drove us to create the MyDigi app. We aim to serve this need in an intuitive and user-friendly manner,” said Junaid Muhammad, Digi’s Head of E-Business.
Digi said it also recently upgraded the self-help corner in its Digi Stores recently and introduced tablet computers loaded with Digi’s self-help tools that customers can use to manage their accounts.
“Having these devices in our stores allows us to introduce the MyDigi app to customers and show them, first-hand, how simple it is to use for account management. We want our customers to try it out and learn that they can access all their account settings anywhere, anytime, at their convenience,” said How Lih Ren, Digi’s Head of Consumer Sales.
“With the new self-help corner which is available in all Digi Stores, customers no longer have to queue up at the counter to perform simple tasks like paying their bills, checking their internet quota balance or update their billing address. Our in-store experts will on-hand to help guide them,” How added.
The MyDigi app is available as a free download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The app recorded more than 500,000 downloads since it was made available on the Google Play Store.
