Honor Band Z1 smartwatch to be available in Malaysia at RM259

Huawei Malaysia announced that the Honor Band Z1 will soon be available in Malaysia at the price of RM259.

The Honor Band Z1 will be available on the Vmall Malaysia website from 19 January 2016, starting from 3.08pm. Interested customers can register their interest on the Vmall website starting from today and they will receive an email when the Huawei Band Z1 is available in stock on the website.

  • Size and Weight: 38 mm x 9.5 mm (1.5 in. x 0.37 in.)
  • Weight: approximately 25 g
  • System Requirements: Android 4.4.4+ or iOS 7.0+
  • Processor: Cortex M4 STM32F411 processor
  • Battery: 70 mAh non-removable battery
  • Battery Life: 4 days normal use or 14 days in standby mode
  • Other Features: IP68 compliance for dust and water resistance, POGO PIN USB port, One pinhole design for powering on and off or to restart
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth 4.1
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, Cap sensor
  • Strap (Hypoallergenic TPU fabric) Colors: Black, White, Khaki

Launched in London (UK) last year, the Honor Band Z1 is a small, lightweight wearable with fitness and sleep tracking capabilities, as well as notification alerts.

According to the company, Honor Z1 Band will be compatible with the following smartphone models: Huawei: G7, G8, Mate 7, Mate S, Nexus 6P, P8, P8lite, Y550 honor: honor 6, honor 6plus, honor 7, honor 4c, honor 4x iPhone: iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 plus, iPhone 6s Samsung: Note 3, Note 4, S5, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, Note5.

The Honor Band Z1 will come in three colours – Black, White and Khaki straps. The Black watch strap will come with a black aluminium body, while the White and Khaki colours will be paired to a silver aluminium body.
