Huawei Technologies, one of the leading smartphone maker in the world has opened its new Asia Pacific Contact Center in Malaysia that will support its consumer business, especially its smartphone users in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
The Asia Pacific Contact Center of Huawei Consumer Business Group will cater to 12 ASEAN countries and will be able to support in 10 different languages including Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Cambodian, Sri Lankan, Bengali and Laotian, English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.
As part of its support service for Huawei smartphones, customers (including in Malaysia) could reach Huawei via toll free hotlines (Malaysia: 1800 22 0086), chat via Huawei official website, email and their official social media platform such as Facebook and Twitter.
Huawei said it will be able to attend to consumers’ enquiries, suggestions, technical supports, complaints and others in the “fastest and most effective manner”. Huawei users can also gain access to all information pertaining to the company’s customer support services through HiCare Android app, which is available for free download from the Google Play store.

At CES 2016 earlier this month, Huawei announced that it shipped 108 million smartphones in 2015, claiming to be one of the top 3 smartphone brand globally. Huawei’s Consumer Business Group revenue exceeded $20 billion USD in 2015, nearly a 70 percent increase from 2014.
