U Mobile announced a new “member plan” today called U Mobile Hero Plus, a combination of Share 50 member plan and the popular P70 Hero postpaid plan.
The U Mobile Hero postpaid plan, which was launched last year, offers customers 7GB mobile Internet and unlimited calls to all networks at RM70/month.
The new U Mobile Hero Plus Plan is a combination of a P70 postpaid plan and a Share 50 member plan. It offers unlimited calls to all networks for both lines plus 10GB of shareable Internet. This means that in total, customers pay a monthly fee of RM120 or RM60 per line. SMS is charged at 3sen/sms to within network and 8sen/SMS to outside the U Mobile network.
“There is no other share plan in the market today that offers the best value and savings as Hero Plus,” the company said in a statement.
The Share 50 member line is similar to a supplementary line. It offers unlimited calls to all networks and adds an extra 3GB of shareable Internet to the principal line’s data pool, which is then shared between all principal and member lines. P70, i90 and i130 principal line holders are eligible to sign up for the Share 50 member line.
Customers who want to sign up for the Share 50 member line (RM50/month) is subject to an upfront payment.
Each account can have up to a maximum of 3 Share 50 member lines per principal line. For example, P70 Hero plan customers who sign up for three Share 50 Member line will enjoy a total of 16GB of shareable Internet, unlimited calls to all networks, all which breaks down to RM55/month for each line.
The new U Mobile Hero Plus and Share 50 member line are available starting today. Customers are recommended to walk in to U Mobile service centre to sign up.
