Viu, an online video streaming service that offers the latest Korean dramas and variety shows, will soon launch in Malaysia.
The free streaming service, now available in Hong Kong and Singapore, brings the latest Korean dramas and variety shows, Japanese dramas and animation, and Chinese and Taiwanese dramas, a mere eight hours after they air on TV. Viewers will have the option to view the shows with English or Chinese subtitles. They can even choose to download the videos to be watched later.
Viu contents can be accessed via its website, iOS and Android smartphone apps. It will be based on a freemium, advertisement supported model, offering users instant access to premium content sourced from Korea, Japan, mainland China and Taiwan on multiple platforms and devices.
