Celcom Axiata has launched a new device program called NewPhone, allowing customer to own the latest 4G LTE smartphones at an affordable monthly rate. The Celcom NewPhone program also allows customers to change to a new phone anytime.
Five type of 4G LTE smartphones are currently offered as part of the Celcom NewPhone program.

The Celcom NewPhone program is open to all all existing and new Celcom Postpaid customers, including those who port in via Mobile Number Portability (MNP).
For new and existing postpaid customers who have been with Celcom below 12-months, a mandatory 3 months upfront payment and mandatory Device Protection applies for the NewPhone program. Postpaid customers who have been with Celcom over 12-month with a good payment record will enjoy waiver of 3 months upfront payment and optional Device Protection.
An Advance Change Fee applies to customers who wants to change to a new smartphone within 12-month. Currently, the fee ranges from RM300 to RM1000 depending on smartphone. Customers can change to a new phone at no cost every 12-months as part of the program.
The Celcom NewPhone program comes with a Device Protection program, powered by AMTrust Mobile Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Device protection provides NewPhone customer with the following “insurance coverage”:

| Value Added Services (VAS) | Any VAS abuse after Robbery & Snatch Theft incident, reimbursement will be up to RM100 |
| Mobile Device Rental while Roaming | Temporary Rental of a replacement Mobile Device while roaming for total period of 14 consecutive days from date of Incident discovery up to RM500 |
The Celcom NewPhone program must be subscribed with any First by Celcom Postpaid plan preferably the Celcom First Gold at RM80/month with Unlimited Call & SMS or the Celcom First Blue plan. Any existing Celcom postpaid subscribers, including those with contract may subscribe to NewPhone. A cancellation fee applies if customers choose to cancel the Celcom NewPhone program within 24-month.

Celcom also unveiled a limited time Chinese New Year mobile Internet plan called FATTNET from Xpax. It is also giving away RM10 free credit with Yonder Music.
“Until 29 February 2016, Xpax users who download and activate Yonder Music, will enjoy unlimited music at zero internet charges, and also receive an additional RM10 free credit. Those who sign up with FiRST or Xpax by Celcom are also eligible to enjoy Celcom’s Millions of Giveaways which ends on 15 March 2016.” Zalman said.
The new FATTNET from Xpax provides 8GB of data quota monthly including free 88 minutes for calls and free 88 SMS and Unlimited Internet Burung Hantu. Available from 5 Feb to 31 March 2016, it is priced at RM88.
