edotco Malaysia and Digi.Com Berhad today signed a collaboration agreement that allows Digi to enhance its mobile coverage nationwide.

The agreement will pave the way for Digi to access edotco’s telecoms infrastructure footprint of over 3,600 sites (base station) nationwide and new built-to-suit sites to accelerate Digi’s network expansion.
According to the companies, edotco and Digi have a long history of network collaboration since 2013, with a joint strong aspiration towards maximizing operational synergies. The new partnership will allow the two (2) companies to maximize the deployment of shared sites, in turn saving operational costs and reducing environmental impact for a sustainable future.
As part of the agreement, edotco is set to deliver co-location and build-to-suit sites, over a period of five (5) years which will give Digi the advantage to further strengthen its network footprint and service quality nationwide.
CEO of edotco Group, Suresh Sidhu said, “This agreement marks a significant milestone in strengthening our relationship and deepening our collaboration with Digi and the Telenor Group. At edotco we believe infrastructure sharing and collaboration will continue to increase in both Malaysia and the region, and we are proud to have Digi as one of our pioneer partner in this venture.”

We are pleased to build on our partnership with edotco, and we look forward towards realizing the full potential of this collaboration.”
