The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge online pre-order which started midnight earlier today, ended with 1,000 units sold, under 3 hours, the technology giant claims.
Samsung Malaysia said in a media statement:

In anticipation of its official launch, Samsung Malaysia Electronics recently announced a limited time pre-order promo for fans and loyal users, offering them a chance to be one of the first few Malaysians to own the stunning device. After only 3 hours into the weeklong pre-order period, Samsung Malaysia is pleased to announce that all 1,000 units allocated for pre-order have been sold thanks to unexpected overwhelming response.[/box]
As Samsung Malaysia thank its customers for the “overwhelming response”, close to a thousand dissatisfying comments were posted on the Samsung Mobile Malaysia Facebook Malaysia as they were unable to access website and complete the pre-order for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.
Below are some of the Samsung Mobile Malaysia Facebook postings that are flooded with dissatisfying comment since midnight.
Most users who visited the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge pre-order page were greeted with an error page, as the screenshot below.
While some managed to get through, the pre-order page itself fail to complete its loading. More screenshots below (click image for better view):
MalaysianWireless wasn’t able to access the pre-order page until 3.30am however we were unable to complete the pre-order. Certain part of the page, for example choosing the Samsung store for collection did not load properly.
Meanwhile, Samsung Malaysia said it will be extending the pre-order promotion for the Galaxy S7 edge, beginning tomorrow, 8th March 2016 (Tuesday) at 10.00 AM. Limited to only 2,000 units and only during the pre-order period, Samsung is offering customers 15% discount and a complimentary 64GB microSD card with every purchase of the Galaxy S7 edge.
