Celcom Fibre Broadband is expected to cost as low as RM72.50/month for existing Celcom First customers according to a leading technology site in Malaysia.
Based on the leak details, the Celcom Fibre plan is called Celcom Home Broadband and it cost RM145/month for unlimited usage at 10Mbps speed. Celcom First Gold subscribers get to enjoy a 50% discount on monthly fee for the 1st 6-month at RM72.50/month. All pricing excludes 6% GST.
Just like a postpaid plan, this fixed service also comes with a voice plan at 8sen/min to all local networks in Malaysia.
The Celcom Fibre package also comes with Free Celcom Home Broadband Modem and Free Celcom Broadband Box (BTU). Installation and activation fee are waived.
Celcom has yet to confirm any of the details above. Stay tuned to MalaysianWireless for the official confirmation on this rumour.
Celcom signed a HSBB agreement recently with Telekom Malaysia. As part of the agreement, Celcom could offer its own fibre broadband service using TM’s fibre network.
