Celcom to offer iPhone 4?

Too late for Celcom? Maybe not. Rumor out there says that Celcom is in talks with Apple to bring in the iPhone 4 sometime next month to Malaysia. I’m not sure whether a contract has been signed so far but even if it has been signed it wouldn’t be easy for Celcom to get iPhone 4 stocks from Apple.

The Economic Daily, a major Taiwanese newspaper which was among the first to correctly report that Apple was making a tablet claims that the same company is now working on the iPad 2. Nothing much is revealed about the specification but the iPad 2 will have a 7-inch LCD screen, reports the daily. The current iPad screen is 9.7-inch.

Android is more popular than iPhone, in the US

According to the research firm Nielsen, more handsets running Google Android than Apple iPhones were sold in the first quarter of 2010 in the US. Google Android handsets accounted for 27 percent of all smartphones sold in the US in Q1, while iPhones are down to a 23 percent market share.

iPad international launch delayed, by a month

Due to the high demand in the US, Apple is delaying the international launch of the iPad, by a month(in May 2010). So far, Apple claims that it has already delivered 500,000 iPads, with a large number of pre-order pending, to be delivered by the end of this month.
