P1 has 338k subscribers to date, plans to offer HSBB & deploy WiMAX in Sabah

Green Packet announced yesterday at its second quarter financial results briefing that Packet One(P1) has managed to grow its total subscribers to 338,000 as of June 30, 2011. Cheaper Roaming Rates at Singapore starting May

Effective May 1, mobile phone rates for incoming roaming calls and SMS between Malaysia and Singapore will be reduced by 20% and 30% respectively. Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said the cuts will be reduced further to 30% and 50% for voice and SMS respectively from May 1, 2012.
