MCMC to set up RM20m fund for 3G content development

No Extension For Registration Exercise: Dr Lim

There will be no extension for the prepaid registration exercise which ends Friday, said Minister of Energy, Water and Communication, Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik. Dr Lim said by the deadline, 90 percent of total prepaid users had registered.

Unregistered prepaid lines risk termination

This coming Saturday, all unregistered cell phone numbers will either be suspended or terminated. The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) said there would be no extension for the registration after its deadline on Friday and the MCMC would carry out an audit at the three major provider companies – DiGi, Celcom and Maxis – to see this was done.
