IDC: Samsung still the Smartphone & Tablet market leader in Malaysia

Samsung smartphones and Samsung made tablets are still the preferred choice of most Malaysian according to market research firm International Data Corporation (IDC). Data from the IDC Asia/Pacific Quarterly Mobile Phone and Tablet Trackers reveals that a total of 4.8 million units of smartphones and 0.9 million units of tablets were shipped in 2015H1 (first half of 2015) in Malaysia.

Ericsson: 7.2 billion mobile subscriptions in Q1 2015, forecast 9.2 billion in 2020
